In 2026, the Eurometropolis will celebrate its eighteenth anniversary. What a symbol!
While in the collective imagination this is the age of independence, for us it is above all an opportunity to remind ourselves that nothing can be achieved alone – as the saying goes, ‘it takes a village to raise a child’. Cross-border cooperation only exists thanks to collective action.
It is thanks to our network of committed Belgian and French partners that we are able to work on a daily basis to overcome obstacles and be of service to citizens and institutions.
This year, we look forward to seeing you at several major events, such as the 3rd edition of the Carré Bleu Bike Tour, starting from Comines-Warneton on 17 May, the HOUR CULTURE meetings and a new programme of BlueWalks during the spring and summer. We look forward to seeing you there!
