Catherine Vanoosthuyse, new President of the Civil Society Forum
On Thursday 14 November, Gérard Flament from France handed over the presidency of the Forum to Catherine Vanoosthuyse from Wallonia.
Catherine has been involved with the Civil Society Forum for many years, in particular with the Mobility Workshop, for which she coordinated the results of the survey on stations and accessibility this year. She is the first woman to chair the Forum since its creation in 2009. Congratulations, Catherine!
When she is not involved in cross-border issues within the Forum, Catherine is also functional manager for Forem, the Walloon Public Employment Service.
The presidency of the Forum de la Société Civile lasts two years and rotates between the three sides (France / Wallonia / Flanders).
