To meet the great challenges in climate change, the Eurometropole is developing new concepts for redefining its spaces, cleaning up its lands, densifying the cities, creating new modes of transport, and so on.

Representatives from West-Flanders, Western Hainaut (Wallonie picarde) and Lille Métropole meet regularly to define development and planning methods that respect the environment. The practices of each region are analysed to bring out the lines of action that are relevant to and that apply in the trans-border territory.
